Help and support

Where can I get help and support?

Henshaws Society for Blind People can offer education, residential, community and support services to visually impaired people and their families in Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Yorkshire and the North East of England.

Your local Social Services will also be able to help signpost you to other organisations offering support. You may want to talk to someone confidentially about how you are feeling, in which case your GP will be able to tell you about counselling services that are available in your area.

You don't have to join a self help group, but support groups are there if you need them.
