Pottery Production Unit

In the Pottery Production Unit, our art makers develop skills and knowledge in

• ‘hand-building’ techniques, such as ‘coiling’, ‘pinching’ and ‘slab work.’ 
• working with moulds and ‘slip casting’.
• throwing on the wheel! 

 

The production unit produces a variety of items:

 

·        tableware

·        garden pots

·        sculptures

·        tiles

·        plaques

 

The art makers supply our shop with items and also work to commission.
