A service for the whole family.

Henshaws Children & Family Service aims to give you and your family friendly, impartial advice, information and practical support when needed. The service is available for visually impaired parents and/or parents with a visually impaired child.

We concentrate on helping you to make sense of all of the information that you receive from a range of organisations and professionals. From your baby's first months to nursery, school and on into adulthood, Henshaws is here to help you prioritise what you need to know as your family develops.

Henshaws has developed its innovative Children and Family Service in Merseyside led by Children and Family Service Team Leader, Sylvia Wensley. The Service has been made possible thanks to generous funding from the Parenting Fund/DfES.
