Providing opportunities for people with a visual impairment and other disabilities to develop their personal and artistic skills through a range of workshops open to the public.

Jewellery making, woodwork, paper workshops, music and horticulture are just some of the activities available as workshops at the Arts & Crafts Centre. At this vibrant artistic centre there is always something going on, and the public are welcomed to explore the grounds and surroundings, to drop into the workshops and enjoy a bite to eat in the cafe. Craft items made by the resident artists are also available for sale.

Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre

Henshaws Arts & Crafts Centre provides training and work experience in the arts and crafts for over 90 disabled people, most of whom have a visual impairment. The Centre is a vibrant arts environment for the whole community to enjoy and the work produced by Henshaws Resident Artists can be viewed Monday to Friday.
