About Henshaws College

Henshaws College is a further education College for both residential and day students with learning difficulties and disabilities.  We have a specialism in visual impairment.

We empower students to:

• Maximise their independence and employability
• Minimise the effects of their disabilities
• Achieve success throughout their adult lives

The emphasis is on “seeing the ability” in every student and maximising their learning potential.  We offer the appropriate support to enable each student to achieve their goals, increase their independence, confidence and self-esteem.  We help them plan for their future.
