Applying to Henshaws College

Henshaws College welcomes residential and day students.  We will give you all the information you need to help you decide if Henshaws College is the best option for you.

Come and visit

We encourage prospective students, students’ families and professionals to contact us well before the student leaves school.  Once you’ve got in touch, we’ll invite you to our open days – or you can make a visit to College, have a tour and meet our staff.

Assessment process

If you decide you would like to apply to Henshaws, we’ll invite the prospective student to come to College for an initial assessment.  For potential residential students this will involve an overnight stay in one of our friendly halls of residence.  There will be activities with teachers and specialists to fully assess their needs and abilities.

We’ll then write an assessment report – this will say if Henshaws is able to meet the needs of the young person by offering a place at College.

Government funding is available to cover the cost of College fees.  Fees include:

  • Tuition
