We offer a range of courses and programmes to help give our service users and students the skills, knowledge and confidence to secure employment.
Funded by the Big Lottery, Skillstep is a 12 week course for people who want to work, volunteer or continue studying. It blends a mix of IT, career guidance and work placement – and over 90% of people continue into further education, voluntary work or employment.
We offer a range of training and skills workshops at our Arts & Crafts Centre in North Yorkshire.
Develop new skills to improve your confidence and help you to volunteer or find a job. Our training & skills workshops include cafe, horticulture, I.T. and woodwork.
If you’re aged 16 – 25 years and living with a disability, we could support you to develop skills for work at our specialist college in North Yorkshire.
You can gain vocational experience in areas including retail, hospitality, horticulture, media and art. Our employability curriculum prepares students for real life situations. We take a very flexible approach to build on your individual strengths and ensure the entire curriculum is student focused. We will build your confidence to enable you to be part of your local community when you leave.
