Is your business up to the challenge?

500 challenge logoThe Henshaws 500 Challenge gives your business the opportunity to get involved with a unique event on behalf of the UK’s oldest sight loss charity. We want you to use your business skills to turn £500 into as much money as you can!

The challenge is to raise as much money as possible for Henshaws from a starting investment of £500, in three
months and will culminate in an awards dinner in January 2012, where the winners will be announced.

In the past we’ve had companies holding Pimms afternoons, setting up tuck shops, holding auctions, and even setting up a wine tasting club.   As long as your idea is legal, ethical and moral, there are no limits.  You will be competing against other businesses so give it your all! The more creative and entrepreneurial your idea the better.

How it works:

  • Your Company signs up as a team to the 500 Challenge.  There will be no restriction in the number of team members and your company can have more than one team (Which always encourages some healthy competition!)
  •  If required, Henshaws will make available £500 to your business to kick-start your 500 Challenge and maximise money making opportunities, the team then decides when they want their three month challenge to begin.
  • During the challenge the team will raise as much money as they can, using the £500 to invest as creatively and as wisely as possible (fundraising methods must be legal, ethical and moral).
  • During January 2012 Henshaws will host the 500 Challenge Awards dinner at a prestigious Manchester hotel. All challenge teams will be invited to attend and be eligible for priority tickets.
