Our visual impairment awareness training is an interactive one day course for anyone who wants to know more about visual impairment.

You will get a chance to try our simulation spectacles – and get an idea what people with common eye conditions might see. You’ll also get a useful information pack to take away and use when you need it.  

You will learn:

• How the eye works
• About a range of eye conditions
• How to approach and guide a person with a visual impairment
• About accessible equipment and daily living skills
• How to make your workplace accessible
