Henshaws Luncheon Club Asst

Where: Aspire Restaurant, Trafford College, Timperley

When: 2nd Thursday of the month, October – June, 11.30am – 3pm

Commitment: One day a month, when volunteer is available and/or when fundraiser cannot attend (a week’s notice will be given)

Smart-casual dress code

Purpose:

To make diners feel appreciated and ensure they have an enjoyable time in this long- running fundraising event

Activities:

  • Meet and greet diners (some are visually impaired) and show them to their tables
  • Distribute booking forms, make notes of any requests, and collect payments for the following month
  • Deliver collected money to M/c office
  • Report any issues that may arise

Skills:

  • Sociable nature
  • enjoying the company of older people
  • Awareness of visual impairment
  • Ability to distribute forms and collect payments

Benefits:

Supervision / Support:

All paperwork (seating plans, booking forms, etc) provided for each luncheonSupport on the first day by a team member. Support by named fundraising staff member
