Handmade at Henshaws

Handmade at Henshaws is our social enterprise.  It provides vocational opportunities for our art makers, Henshaws College students and volunteers to build their skills and participate in rewarding activities.  We sell the products made or grown here – and all profits go back into the centre.

The products we make here include ‘funky bags’, paper and cards, handcrafted jewellery and art work.  We even make our own pickles and chutneys! 

We also have a plant nursery – and our plants are usually about a third cheaper than local garden centres. 

Our shop and café is staffed by art makers from the centre and students from Henshaws college.  Why not come along and buy a really original gift?  Remember, you’ll be helping to support our work with visually impaired people and the local arts community as well.
