Vision support service

Our vision impairment support service combines the knowledge and experience of our community focused rehabilitation team with our educational vision support team.

We provide personalised programmes for people with a visual impairment.  Our training and practical support empowers people to:

• Understand and manage their visual impairment
• Increase their independence

We champion the capabilities of people with sight loss.  We want to ensure that the needs of aspirations of people with a visual impairment are met, and that their voices are heard.

We work with local communities to increase understanding of the needs and abilities of people with sight loss and associated disabilities.

The team provides advice, consultancy and training to education and community based services, local authorities, other charities and local businesses.
