Celebrating our students at Henshaws Got Talent
With the final of Britain’s Got Talent taking place last weekend, we’d like to share with you our very own event, Henshaws Got Talent!
Back in March, our College students competed in the Henshaws Got Talent live final. Families, fellow students and staff gathered to watch the 14 acts, ranging from magic tricks to comedy to singing.
Event organiser and Student Liaison Officer Sara Hatfield said: “It’s a chance for everyone to celebrate the many talents of our students together. The audience were brilliant – we had some tears and some laughter but overall it was just a great atmosphere.”
The panel of judges was made up of Henshaws staff members representing some famous faces including Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, Emma Bunton, Sharon Osbourne and of course Simon Cowell. We also had our very own presenters who looked the part with their Ant and Dec masks.
The family of our winner said: “We’re very proud. A couple of years ago she wouldn’t have been able to do this. She’s done really well.” To find out who our talented winner was and see clips of all the acts, you can watch our video below.
