In Yorkshire
Our Arts & Crafts Centre in Knaresborough provides a welcoming and accessible environment for families with children.
You can explore our outdoor spaces including a pirate ship play area, boules court, woodland walk and gardens. Our art workshops are open throughout the week for creative inspiration and our Art Makers would love to show you what we’ve been working on. Afterwards you can relax in our café which offers a range of hot food, drinks and snacks. We also have a changing places accessible toilet on site.
We offer a programme of family friendly events throughout the year, and we also offer children’s parties. You can choose a music workshop, pamper party, art workshop or a disco.
Please contact us for more information about any of our activities.

In schools
We offer unique sessions in schools, all about visual impairments. Discover the difficulties someone would face learning at school with a visual impairment – for example, would you know how to guide them around the school?
Our interactive and educational assemblies are perfect to introduce children to eye health and visual impairment awareness.
