Blind people are glamorous

In this short video, Sylvia playfully shares her thoughts on self-love, stating “all bodies are beautiful, blind people are glamorous”.

Individuality should be celebrated. Our bodies are all unique, just like our experiences. By embracing these differences, we create a world where everyone feels valued for who they are. Let’s champion diversity and recognise the strength and beauty that comes from our individuality. Blind people are glamorous.

Sylvia says

Just a reminder that you are beautiful just as you are.

I celebrated my birthday and apparently I’m officially auntie age, so let me just mind my business, wear what I want, empower others, and really get serious about drinking water!

Video description

Sylvia is a black blind woman with long black and silver grey braids. The clips show her as she essentially frolics with her children outside a restaurant with beautifully lit palm trees. It is moments like these that remind us blind people are glamorous. She holds her long white cane, sometimes walking and smiling. Her outfit is a long black evening dress with a thigh high split, she carries a black and gold woven large clutch bag and wears her comfy slippers.
