Due to staff progression and increased student numbers, we are looking to recruit a number of enablers to work alongside our students. The role involves assisting our students to access their personalised study programme focussing on independence, employability and social skills.

Our students age from 16-25 and have a variety of health conditions such as sensory impairments and moderate to severe learning difficulties.  Some of our students have an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behavioural, emotional and social difficulties (BESD) which may result in some challenging behaviours.  Due to the needs of our students, support with intimate personal care and feeding may be required (possibly PEG feeding).

We are looking to recruit staff who are conscientious, bright, and respectful and who can make a difference to the lives of our young people; supporting them to achieve their personal learning and enable a smooth transition into adult life.  Experience in care is not essential but it would be great to receive applications from applicants who hold a recognised care qualification such as a diploma/NVQ2 in Health and Social Care.
