Annual Leave: 25 days Annual leave plus 10 bank holidays (Pro-rata for term-time and part-time posts)

We are looking for a Care Lead to manage the House for our Sensory Students based at Henshaws College
Job Summary:
To manage a service to ensure that it meets all regulatory framework within OFSTED and CQC and delivers outstanding, person centred care for our students.
Key responsibilities will include:
Manage any deputies under your supervision.
Manage a team of enablers, carrying out regular supervisions, appraisals and observations in order to provide appropriate feedback and support individuals’ to develop and progress their skills.
Challenge poor practice and ensure that concerns are raised with the Safeguarding Board as required.

The ideal candidate will possess:
Willingness to assist students with any personal care requirements as needed.
Knowledge of care work and what this will involve including understanding dignity and respect
NVQ 5/Diploma in Health and Social Care or a willingness to achive within a 2 year period.
