We are now looking to a Deputy Care Lead, to manage a team of enablers to provide a safe, caring and well-led service to meet the care and learning needs of our students.
Duties of the roles include:
• Manage a team of enablers, carrying out regular supervisions, appraisals and observations in order to support team members to develop and progress their skills
• Write and review person centred, accurate care plans and risk assessments, liaising with colleagues across the college to deliver a holistic approach.
• Carry out the care requirements for each student as directed on their individual care and support plan. This may involve intimate personal care, feeding (potentially PEG feeding), toileting.
The successful candidates will have NVQ 2/Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Previous experience of working with people with learning disabilities would be a distinct advantage.
