Due to the retirement of the current post holder, we are currently seeking a Director of Finance and Resources to oversee the implementation of Henshaws strategic plan and add value and expert advice to the senior leadership team. 

The Director of Finance and Resources, reporting to the Chief Executive and a Board of Trustees, is responsible for delivering improvements through financial reporting, and informed decision making, They will have accountability for the financial strategy and ensuring long-term financial sustainability of the charity.  There will be an expectation to provide financial insights into the performance of the business, identifying risks and opportunities which can be converted into positive outcomes, with a focus on supporting Henshaws strategic aims. 

The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level and be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CCAB equivalent).  They will have post qualification experience, demonstrating the ability to adapt to differing environments, sectors and industries.  A sound knowledge and understanding of charity accounting, charity law and regulations would be advantageous.
