Our Instructors are key to this process.
Due to increased student numbers in 2019/2020 we are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Instructor to deliver high quality teaching and learning in the area of Independence.
As a session leaders, college instructors lead the delivery of learning and assess student progress. They work closely with a small tutor group to support and guide students to maximise their potential.
The successful candidates will possess:
- Experience of teaching or supporting small groups of students, or other relevant groups
- Relevant qualifications for working in a teaching environment or willingness to further study
- An understanding of the needs of students with learning difficulties and/or other disabilities
- Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in an education environment
It would be advantageous to possess experience of working in further education and/or SEND environment. A HND, Degree or nationally recognised professional qualification in a related subject would be extremely useful in the role.
