Job Title: IT Technician – Yorkshire
Location: Henshaws College, Harrogate with some travel to other Henshaws sites in the North East and North West as required
Salary: £20,827.04 per annum/£10.54 per hour
Hours per Week: 38 hours per week (flexibility required for out of hours support and maintenance) all year
Annual Leave: 25 days plus 10 Statutory holidays (pro-rata for part time/term time roles)

We are recruiting for an IT technician which will involve general IT administration combining desktop user support along with server, network support and domain management for Henshaws Charity staff and its students and service users.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • To carry out IT administrative tasks.To support and develop the IT Network environment.
  • To provide a responsive, one-to-one service to students and staff using Henshaws IT facilities and provide advice and guidance on assistive technologies.
  • To support and develop the IT Server environment
  • To provide desktop, telephone & user IT support
  • To provide a responsive, one-to-one service to students and staff using Henshaws IT facilities and provide advice and guidance on assistive technologies.

The successful candidate will be qualified to GCSE level or equivalent. A relevant IT qualification is preferred but not essential.

Experience in Windows Server/AD, Email & Web filtering and Exchange Server is essential. The successful candidate will need to possess excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise and manage tasks.
