Salary £10.00 per hour (Over-time paid at £11.00 per hour)
Hours Full/Part-time hours available, Weekend and Evening cover required (fixed shifts)
(Example of shifts available: 7:30am-4:30pm, 8:30am-4:30pm, 12noon-10pm, 4:00pm-10:00pm)
Weeks 38 (Term time only)
Annual Leave 25 days plus 10 days bank holiday (pro-rata for part-time/term time)

Working as a SEN Care support worker no two days are the same!

During the day you will be supporting our students in college to access their individual education programmes which may involve math and English lessons, living skills such as shopping, going to the gym or learning to cook.   In the evenings and at weekends it’s time for our students to kick back and relax with pizza nights, going to the local pub for a drink and a game of pool, cinema and so much more. Our young people know how to have fun!

Henshaws is a registered charity which provides support, choice, and opportunity for young adults (16-24) with a range of disabilities and behavioural needs to access our SEN College in a residential setting.

We are a values-led, not-for-profit organisation that places a real emphasis on enabling our students to go beyond expectations.
