Team Leader (Care) – Home Support

Salary: £10.54 per hour/£20,827.04 per annum
Hours: 38 (7 am to 10 pm Monday to Sunday)
Weeks per year: 52
Annual Leave: 25 days plus 10 Statutory holidays (pro-rata for part-time/term time roles)

Due to a change in our Senior Leadership team and a new structure being implemented, Henshaws is looking to appoint three caring and enthusiastic Team Leaders
Henshaws Home Support provide long term flexible support for people with a range of disabilities who live, or would like to live independently in the local community. This service has over 30 years of experience in supporting people to maintain their own tenancies. We have particular experience in assisting people in transitional stages of their life and for young people leaving specialist further education.
Henshaws is looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Team Leader to assist the Registered and Deputy Manager with the delivery of a good level of care and support for the people who use the service whilst ensuring compliance with CQC and other regulations.
Key responsibilities will include:
To help ensure that appropriate, clear and accurate systems of recording, reporting and quality control are maintained taking on specific responsibility for individual aspects of these processes
To act as a keyworker for individual people with more complex needs or external relationships
To be part of the system that ensures that Support Workers receive high-quality supervision and appropriate support

The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience of working with young people/ adults with learning disabilities.
- Sound ethos and values regarding service users including respect, dignity, privacy, choices and rights fulfilled and independence maximised.
- An NVQ/CQF Level 3 in Health and Social care or equivalent is essential.
