Trust and Grants Administrator (part time)

Hours: 21 hours per week
Salary: £8.19 per hour/£8,943.48 per year (increase to be confirmed following increase in
minimum wage in April 2019)
Annual Leave: 25 days plus 10 statutory holidays per annum
(pro rata for part time roles)

Our fundraising team are a friendly supportive bunch who work together to generate income through various streams.
This role is to support the Trusts & Grants Fundraiser to achieve income targets through the submission of funding applications and reports.
Key responsibilities, amongst others, will include:
- Develop and submit small to mid level applications to a range of charitable trusts and other grant makers as part of Henshaws’ schedule of applications.
- Compiling internal reports and being a contact for service users
- Compile and submit reports and thank you letters to trusts and grant makers in a timely manner to meet funder requirements.
This is a great opportunity for an individual with strong research skills and ability to summarise complex information as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience of fundraising in either a paid or voluntary capacity is desirable but full training will be given.
This is an interesting, varied role for someone who would like to gain fundraising experience, or build on their strong administration and communication skills.
