We are looking for a Waking Night Care worker to work with our client Mike to enable him to live in his own home in Harrogate.

Mike has a great sense of humour and enjoys banter with his family and friends. Mike enjoys doing things such as karaoke, listening to all types of music on his iPod specifically 60s music, Jazz, Elvis, Elton John and Neil Diamond.

Job Summary

Lone working (with or without sleepover support) in a supported living residence providing care and supervision of Tenants during the night. Supporting Tenants with their personal care needs during the night and carrying out directed duties and recording as required by the Team Leader

Key responsibilities will include:

Ensuring that tenants are safe and secure during the night by regular rounds and checks of the residence as directed by the team leader

Carrying out any night time care requirements for each tenant as directed on their individual care and support plan.

Accurately and appropriately recording and reporting tenants to care and support needs during the shift and confirm that any requirements have been carried out.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Experience in the care field is essential as is the ability to assist tenants/service users with their personal care requirements as needed, whilst maintaining their dignity.

An Level 2 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social care is essential for this role.
