Another successful Healthy Living Skills course!

Our latest Healthy Kitchen Skills course has just come to an end in Liverpool - congratulations to our course graduates! The course has been running for over a year now, and has been a great hit.

The aim of the course is to gain the skills and knowledge to prepare and cook healthy and nutritious meals safely and confidently, and to have a basic understanding of the aids and equipment used for everyday kitchen use.

The course starts with a healthy favourite of fried egg and chips, followed by popular dishes like sweet and sour chicken and fat free ice cream.

The course is for people of all ages and ability. One group attendee has just completed her first year at university, and journeyed all the way from Manchester to come and take part in the course, so she can get the skills to cook for herself when she returns after summer. Others are on the course to learn to cook new healthy recipes, and others attendee to build their confidence to cook independently in the kitchen.
