Henshaws is thrilled to share the Bed Fest success, the event was held on Saturday, June 8th, alongside the renowned Knaresborough Bed Race. This year’s event was extraordinary, raising an impressive £23,000 for the charity. This achievement was possible through the support of our talented musicians, dedicated vendors, enthusiastic volunteers, and fantastic sponsors. A special thank you goes to our title sponsor, Specsavers. Their generosity played a crucial role in making the event possible.
A Vibrant Celebration
Bed Fest 2024 was a celebration of community spirit and solidarity. It brought together people from all walks of life. They enjoyed a day filled with exceptional music, delicious food, and local beers. The funds raised will significantly support individuals living with disabilities and sight loss. This enables Henshaws to continue providing vital services and support to those in need.
Fantastic Music Line-Up
The festival featured an impressive line-up of musicians performing across two stages. This created an atmosphere of joy and excitement. Henshaws Ambassador and DJ Rory Hoy had everyone up and dancing. The headline act, Hot Sauce, brought the night to a thrilling close. All performers generously donated their time and talent to support the charity festival.
Delicious Food and Drinks
Local breweries, Harrogate Brewing Co and Turning Point, served up a delightful range of brews. Jimmy Macks street kitchen treated attendees to mouth-watering hog roast buns. The Arts and Crafts Centre café delighted guests with tasty Italian pizzas. There was something for everyone to enjoy.
Fun Activities for All Ages
For the little ones, the festival offered a variety of fun activities. These included hook-a-duck, a treasure hunt around the centre, and face painting by Pretty Little Faces. The day truly had something for all ages!
