Beer lovers, mark your calendars! Henshaws Beer Fest is making a triumphant return to Knaresborough this May bank holiday. The festival promises an unforgettable weekend filled with craft beer, delicious food, and top-tier live entertainment. Held at the Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre, it brings together local breweries, music fans, and food lovers for a special celebration.
A Beer Fest Like No Other
Taking place on Saturday, May 3rd, and Sunday, May 4th, Henshaws Beer Fest will feature a stellar lineup of local beers, crisp ciders, artisan gins, and fine wines. There’s something for every taste. A mouthwatering selection of street food will be available, including sizzling BBQ dishes and freshly made wood-fired pizza. All food and drink come from Yorkshire’s finest producers.
The festival offers two family-friendly daytime sessions and an adults-only Saturday evening party. Whether rain or shine, festivalgoers can enjoy a lively atmosphere with plenty of seating and undercover areas at the Arts and Crafts Centre.
Live Music and Entertainment All Weekend Long
More than just a beer festival, Henshaws Beer Fest celebrates music and community. This year’s lineup includes crowd-favorite DJ Rory Hoy, an ambassador for Henshaws known for bringing the party vibes. BBC Introducing’s Leo Hicks will also perform a mesmerizing acoustic set. Expect great tunes, plenty of dancing, and an incredible atmosphere all weekend.
Supporting a Worthy Cause
What makes Henshaws Beer Fest truly special is its purpose. Every ticket sold and every pint pulled supports Henshaws, a charity dedicated to helping people with sight loss and disabilities across the North of England. Funds raised create opportunities for individuals to discover their talents, grow in confidence, and gain independence.
“This is our fifth year running the event, and it just keeps getting better,” says Flora Simpson, Fundraising Development Manager at Henshaws. “We’re incredibly grateful to the amazing Knaresborough community for their support. There’s always a great buzz at the festival, and it’s all about having a good time while supporting a fantastic cause.”
Bigger and Better with Servoca Health
This year, Servoca Health joins as the title sponsor, making the event even bigger and better. Servoca Health provides care staff for Henshaws College and is passionate about supporting communities and charities.
