Christmas comes early for our Newcastle group
Christmas came early for our Newcastle group, when our junior football team and staff were delighted to attend a performance of the 'Beauty & The Beast' panto on Sunday.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to Tyne Journal Theatre for providing 30 free tickets to the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ pantomime show for our Newcastle’s junior football team this Sunday. They even arranged a meet and greet with the cast, including Lewis Denny, Charlie Richmond, Bob Stott, Maxie Peters, Emily Swan and James Hedley, afterwards which was a brilliant experience.
The tickets were compliments of Brandon Healy, who sadly passed away in February this year, and had been a close friend to Henshaws in Newcastle for over 10 years. Brandon provided panto tickets to Henshaws every Christmas and we’re very grateful to the theatre for continuing the tradition this year.

We can't do it without you
Henshaws rely on voluntary donations; our work just wouldn’t be possible without people like you. Your support empowers local people living with sight loss and a range of other disabilities to increase their independence, achieve their dreams, and go beyond expectations.
