Henshaws comes to Sunderland College

The staff at Sunderland College got a taste of the Blind Football experience at their staff training day.

The staff at Sunderland College got to experience a taste of Blind Football on their staff training day on equality and diversity, which was perfect for their CPD (corporate professional development).

Craig and Philippa from our Newcastle centre were there to visit the staff with some blindfolds and a bell football, and around 20 members of staff chose to do the taster – fully booked! – and got to learn about the sport, and even play it for themselves.

Check out some of the photos below, and if you’d like to get Henshaws involved in your workplace or school – please get in touch! Our specialist staff can provide you with training, information and advice on visual impairments and VI awareness, tailored for your organisation. Ring our fundraising team on 0161 786 3656 to find out more.
