Learn essential gardening skills for summer

How would you like to learn or develop essential gardening skills whilst having fun, meeting new people and creating a lovely hanging basket to showcase at your home?

Henshaws have teamed up with Hulme Garden Centre to offer a ‘Beginners Gardening Course’ for people with a visual impairment.

When: It will run on Monday afternoons and last for two and a half hours, we are initially starting with a four week taster session.

Cost: £5.00 per person. You will also need to cover costs of the plants to create your hanging basket – this works out at around £10 to complete the basket (£2.50 per plant). If you would like to grow herbs they are charged at £1 each.

Group size: The course can take up to ten people.

Please call Lisa Young on 0161 872 1234 to express your interest and find out more, or e-mail: lisa.young@henshaws.org.uk.
