Henshaws Specialist College Student Survey Results 2025
At Henshaws Specialist College, we are proud to champion student voice in everything we do. Each year, our students take part in two major surveys designed to capture their opinions, feedback, and experiences. Their insights help us strengthen our college community and drive meaningful improvements.
Student voice is at the heart of our quality assurance processes. Every department contributes questions, ensuring we gather a full range of views. This approach allows students to see how their feedback shapes college life and highlights the real impact their voices have in building a positive environment.
How We Promote Student Voice
To support full participation, we plan the surveys in advance and include them in our college enrichment planner. Students are given a full week to complete the survey during tutorials, with both online and accessible paper versions available to meet everyone’s needs.
Following student feedback, we limited this year’s survey to just 10 questions. Students told us that this number felt manageable and enjoyable. This approach allows for rich feedback without overwhelming students.
Students are also encouraged to suggest future survey topics and share areas where they would like to learn more about college life, staff roles, and the support available to them. This ensures student voice remains a driving force behind how we grow and improve.
