A record breaking day at Skipton Triathlon!
Team Henshaws returned to Skipton Triathlon last week for the fifth year in a row, for a record breaking day of exercise and sun.
Team Henshaws – a team of athletes from Yorkshire who all use Henshaws services – have just competed in their fifth Skipton Triathlon!
It was a fantastic day, with Shelley beating her personal best at swimming, Sam beating his personal best at cycling, and Steve beating his personal best at running by a whopping 13 minutes!
Last June, the team competed in their first ever international triathlon – the ITU World Triathlon Series in Leeds, and did amazingly. You can read more about their experience in our news post here.
A huge congratulations to all the athletes, and a massive thank you to all the volunteers and staff that made the day such a success.
Photos of the day are available below.

We can't do it without you
Henshaws rely on voluntary donations; our work just wouldn’t be possible without people like you. Your support empowers local people living with sight loss and a range of other disabilities to increase their independence, achieve their dreams, and go beyond expectations.
