Meet Sarah – An Experienced Educator with a Passion for Student Well-Being
Sarah is the Chair of the College Governing Board as well as a member of the Board. She has a strong connection to Henshaws Specialist College with memories of visiting as a child as both her grandfather and mother were Chair of Trustees. With thirty years of experience in education, sixteen as a head teacher, Sarah has worked in schools with high levels of need, specialising in safeguarding, supporting looked-after children, and integrating family support into school settings. She has also chaired the advisory board of a Children’s Centre for numerous years and has a special interest in student well-being and positive behaviour support. Sarah is now semi-retired and lives in Cheshire.
