CAB Support Clinic

The CAB Support Clinic offers practical, face-to-face advice for people with sight loss or other access needs. If you’re seeking reliable CAB support Bury, this monthly session provides a calm, confidential space to talk through your concerns with a trained advisor.

When & Where

First Monday of every month, 10:00am to 12:30pm
Bury Society for Blind and Partially Sighted People, 6–8 Trafford Street, Bury, BL9 0TY

Who is eligible?

This service is open to blind and partially sighted people, as well as those with other access needs. Carers or family members can attend alongside you if that would be helpful.

What to expect

During your appointment, you can get advice on benefits, housing, debt, work, and more. Mia, a Citizens Advice Bureau advisor, leads each session. She understands the additional challenges faced by people with visual impairments and tailors her advice accordingly.

The CAB Support clinic takes place in a quiet, private room. Staff and volunteers are available to help with directions or communication needs. Thanks to this setup, the support is both accessible and personal.

Sessions last up to 30 minutes. Because they are one-to-one, you’ll have space to speak openly and ask questions.

Booking Required

You must book your appointment in advance. As places fill quickly, we recommend contacting the office as early as possible.
