The drop-in is open to anyone with sight loss or other access needs. The Eye Talk Course is suitable for people looking to better understand and manage their visual impairment. Carers are also welcome to attend either session.
What to expect
In the Small Lounge, the drop-in provides a relaxed setting for refreshments and friendly conversation. Volunteers are available to welcome new visitors and offer support if needed.
Meanwhile, the Eye Talk Course Bury takes place in the Large Lounge. This structured programme offers guidance on living with sight loss, using assistive technology, and accessing services. Sessions are led by experienced staff and tailored to the needs of participants.
Both spaces are fully accessible, and you can choose to attend either or both depending on your interests. Moreover, the calm, supportive environment ensures everyone feels included and valued.
