Led by Mary Gifford, the group enjoys expertly guided visits to exhibitions, installations, and historical collections. With audio description, participants can fully engage with artwork. Hands-on elements provide a tactile experience, making exhibitions more immersive. These visits create an inclusive way to appreciate the arts while connecting with others.
Beyond the exhibitions, the group gathers for refreshments. This is a great time to reflect on the visit, discuss thoughts, and share experiences. Whether you love art, history, or discovering new places, these outings offer a unique way to engage with culture and meet new people.
A recent visit to HOME Arts Centre included an audio-described tour of “Songs for the Storm to Come.” This immersive sound and video installation explored climate change through music and performance. With expert guidance, the group experienced a thought-provoking exhibition. Many participants shared meaningful discussions about environmental challenges and artistic interpretation.
If you would like to join our next visit, we would love to hear from you.
