Pride in Ageing Programme – LGBT Foundation

The Pride in Ageing programme from LGBT Foundation is a joyful and empowering initiative for LGBTQ+ people over 50 in Greater Manchester. It offers a year-round mix of events, social activities, campaigns and volunteering opportunities to support inclusion and wellbeing.

When & Where

Activities run throughout the year and take place both in-person and online. Many events are held at the LGBT Foundation’s accessible community centre at 72 Sackville Street, Manchester, M1 3NJ. Venue access includes step-free entry and accessible toilets.

Who is eligible?

The programme is open to anyone aged 50 or over who identifies as LGBTQ+. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, speak up about issues affecting older LGBTQ+ people, or just have some fun, everyone is welcome to join.

What to expect

Expect a warm, welcoming environment where older LGBTQ+ individuals can connect and thrive. The Pride in Ageing programme includes social groups, cultural events, community-led campaigns and chances to share your voice through research or volunteering. Whether you prefer a quiet chat or vibrant group activity, there’s something for everyone.
