The Snow Centre – Adaptive Skiing and Snowboarding

The Snow Centre offers year-round indoor skiing, snowboarding, and snow park activities, with lessons and experiences suitable for all abilities. Disability Snowsport UK have a base in the centre, offering fully adaptive snow sports. 

Staff members and volunteers have completed Visual Impairment Awareness Training with Henshaws, to ensure everyone can access lessons and sessions.

Who is eligible?

Anyone age 3+ for the snow park, and 4+ for skiing and snowboarding.

What to expect:

The Snow Centre provides a range of ways to get on the slopes, including group sessions, 1:1 lessons, and block bookings for those who want to build confidence over time. There’s also a Snow Park where visitors can enjoy riding inflatable doughnuts down the slope or simply have fun playing in the snow. Annual memberships are available, and all equipment can be hired on site, though you’re welcome to bring your own.

Disability Snowsport UK is based at the centre and offers fully adaptive skiing sessions. These are available as group lessons, 1:1 sessions, or block bookings, and can be tailored to individual needs and abilities.

If you’re not skiing, the on-site bar and restaurant offer seating and views of the slopes – perfect for relaxing or watching others take to the snow.
