Lancashire Lions VI Cricket: Summer Practice Sessions

Looking to play visual impaired cricket in Manchester? Lancashire Lions Visually Impaired Sports Club runs friendly, inclusive cricket practice sessions for players of all skill levels and sight levels.

Every Wednesday from 9th April 2025
Time: 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
Location: Cheetham Hill Cricket Club, Catherine Road, Manchester M8 4HF
The venue is step-free and accessible for all participants.

Who is eligible?

Anyone aged 12 and over with a visual impairment. We welcome new players, returning cricketers, and those with experience. Parents, guardians, and carers are welcome to attend.

What to expect:

Come and join our friendly and inclusive sports club! Successfully operating in Manchester for the past 12 years, we are a dedicated visually impaired sports club offering cricket, goalball, baseball, and tenpin bowling. With over 30 regular members from a range of backgrounds and sight levels, our sessions bring people together for sport and social connection.

Each cricket session includes warm-ups, skill-building, and match play. All equipment is provided and support is available for all abilities. From complete beginners to national team players, everyone is welcome.

Booking Required:

You are welcome to drop in, but we recommend contacting us in advance so we can prepare equipment and support.
