The Wednesday Morning Drop-In is a relaxed, welcoming session where people with sight loss or other access needs can drop in, enjoy a hot drink, and connect with others. It’s a simple and supportive way to start your day in good company.

Who is eligible?
This session is open to anyone living with sight loss or similar access needs. New visitors are always welcome, and you don’t need to be a member to attend. Carers and companions are encouraged to join too.
What to expect
Each Wednesday, people gather to enjoy refreshments, friendly conversation, and a calm atmosphere. The Wednesday Morning Drop-In provides a safe and informal place to meet others, share experiences, or simply relax.
Volunteers are on hand throughout the morning to welcome new visitors and support anyone who needs assistance. Although the group has no fixed agenda, it often serves as a helpful introduction to other services and activities provided by the Society.
This drop-in is designed to be accessible and inclusive. There are no forms to fill in and no pressure to stay for the full session. Just come as you are and enjoy the space.
