Changing the world: Henshaws College students

This Red Nose Day, we asked some of our supported internship students to share ideas for how they would change the world for the better.

We absolutely loved reading their responses, which took the form of poems, songs and more – take a look!

Change the world by Shafiq

I would change the world by getting people to respect people and understand people no matter what e.g. religion, disability, and ethnicity. There would be no bullying people.

I would give everybody water facilities from taps, shower and baths.

I would give everybody access to food.  I would also give everybody access to a house or somewhere to live.

I would help the homeless so there would be no homeless people because I would give them money.

People of the world by Nathan

The world is at a point where it needs positivity, happiness and love.

There are wealthy people in the world who should be grateful for a lot less.

The world needs to be full of excitement and kindness.

How I would change the world by Edmund

Everyone would be understanding
Be positive
Everyone would be healthy
Be positive
I would get doctors to help
Be positive

Everyone would love each other
Be kind to one another
Everyone must have fun
Especially in the sun

Friendship is good because people make them happy.

Comic relief song by Marnie

We can fill our world with happiness.
We can do something that can benefit from our health.
I would be kind and understanding all the time.
Ranges of positivity and then it’s fine.

Comic relief is important, because we always benefit, from the world we live in, and be so helpful too.

I could help the doctor’s and nurses all day long.
I can always help you not get it wrong.
I can spread lots of kindness and the love.
Then I can see it all around and up above.

Comic relief is important, because we always benefit, from the world we live in, and be so helpful too.

I love to help out, and work as a team oh yes.
Then everyone can be proud with the help, no mess.

Comic relief is important, because we always benefit, from the world we live in, and be so helpful too.
